Hi, I’m Katherine!

About

I recently received my master’s in human-computer interaction and design from the University of Washington. Prior to the program, I worked at Amazon Robotics as a Learning Experience Designer creating training experiences and curricula for technicians at robotics fulfillment centers. I thrive in collaboration and ambiguity, and love to dive deep into new and challenging spaces.

Path to UX

During my time as an undergraduate at Northwestern University, I studied journalism so that I could chase my curiosities and learn about unfamiliar topics. I immersed myself in a diverse range of projects to stretch my thinking and work with different people. From designing a lobster-measuring device for marine biologists to creating an AI-themed event for indie game developers, I saw that research, user experience, and storytelling were at the core of all my diverse experiences. Now I aim to bring this sense of curiosity to create seamless and engaging user-centric solutions.
